Curator's Note:
"During the winter season the winds of creativity and imagination blow into Verum Ultimum anew with the yearly exhibition, A Generous Kingdom: Art that explores Symbolism, Story, and Beyond. This year's 9th edition serves up a cacophony of ephemeral beauty, naturalistic landscapes, fantastical dream-scapes, playful interactive installation elements, and ideas of home. While echoes from recent political events and catastrophic atrocities reverberate from the periphery. The entirety of the exhibition whispers of a surrealistic dream with a beginning, middle, but no end. It is a catalyst for conversations and thought. The purposeful choices of aesthetic beauty against pensive narratives vibrates with a degree of tension and may remind us of unexplored pathways. There is always a way through especially for those that have grit, bravery, and a love of art. Please consider purchasing art from Verum Ultimum*, particularly during these uncertain times. It ensures that conversations continue outside of the limited access controlled by the few. Art matters now more than ever and it helps keep the realm we inhabit...generous."
